Business Unit -:- Recycling of Automotive Batteries
Position: Manager Reverse Logistics
Position is Based in: Oman
Grade : M6
Must be 32-38 yrs of age with 10 -12 yrs of hands-on experience in Logistic/Reverse logistics operations including setting up of mother warehouse/ sub-warehouse /collection points.
Must have a valid GCC driving licence so that it can be converted into Oman Licence.
1. Must drive the operations of the business which is a start up and has to accept the challenge of driving it upto full scale.
2. Responsible for planning, implementing and controlling efficient and effective flow of used automotive batteries from the point of consumption across Oman to the collection points/ warehouse for recycling operations.
3. Responsible for setting up various collection centers across Oman for collection / storage of used automotive batteries.
4. Responsible for cost effective procurement of these automotive batteries and ensuring that these batteries are transported to warehouse cost effectively and safely as per standards prescribed by regulatory authorities.
5. Responsible to develop and inculcate a process and safe operations approach in the team and at all collection / storage sites.
6. Responsible for developing sources for used automotive batteries and ensuring continuous supply of used automotive batteries to the warehouse.
7. Develop best transportation options for collected automotive batteries from collection centers to warehouse.
8. Formulating & implementation of processes for collection, transportation and storage of automotive batteries with effective checks and controls in place.
1. Excellent Planner and must have sound Problem solving skills.
2. Must be able to build and drive a diverse team to deliver value to business.
3. Positive attitude and proactive to situation and issues.
4. Excellent Negotiator for cost optimization.
5. Must have good ability to handle conflict and chaos.
6. Knowledge about safety in warehousing operations and about Haz-op/ products.
7. Well versed with Computer applications incl SAP.
