Experience: 5 to 10 yrs
To plan, schedule and supervise all Mechanical works involving replacements and repairs to structural and hydrocarbon / high pressure gas / utility piping along with associated painting, wrapping, civil works including day lighting & supports in the Refinery pipe trenches and other operating locations including underground, sub-sea and cross-country piping.
Prepare Cost estimates of Works and interpreting Contracts.
Responsible for ensuring that all assigned works are completed on time with total emphasis on Safety and Quality.
Capable of coordinating with related disciplines like civil, painting, electrical and instrumentation in the execution of the work.
Co-ordinate inter / intra Department and other discipline Supervisors / Contractors.
Familiar with Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) such as SAP or Maximo or EMPAC.
Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred. However, Diploma holders with suitable experience will also be considered.
Minimum 5 years of field experience with sufficient exposure to all aspects related to replacements and repairs of structural and product / utility piping along with associated works in running Oil Refineries/ Petrochemical plants.
Adequate working knowledge of ASME / ANSI / API codes related to piping.
Be aware of all safety procedures and be fully conversant with the Health and Safety Standards in the Petroleum/Petrochemical Industry.
Be proficient with MS Office software packages.
Good communication skills (written & verbal) in English.
