Experience: 5 to 10 yrs.
- Manages and training for minimum of 50 staff members
- Maintain appropriate inventory levels, Implement quality improvements
- Sets the standard for service expectations by scrutinizing every aspect of the guest's experience from start to finish.
- Maintains good energy and positive image to guests and staff during the shift.
- Conducts daily line checks for food quality freshness and standards at the beginning of each shift.
- Demonstrates thorough recipe knowledge and awareness of food and beverage quality.
- Uses opening and closing checklists at each shift. Follows shift plan and conducts pre-shift meetings with staff.
- Makes adjustments to staffing levels as needed
- Achieves and maintains a clean and sanitary environment throughout the restaurant. Demonstrates and promotes safety awareness
- Bachelors in hotel management or similar
- Minimum of 5 years experience in this min of 2 years of experience managerial level at any restaurant.
- Solid track record of success in previous assignments demonstrating upward career tracking.
- Must possess strong leadership skills, Must be dependable, reliable and motivated.
- Able to work ten hour-plus shifts, with extensive standing/walking.
- Proficient in Micros or other restaurant management softwares
- Ability to work varied shifts and days of the week
- Proven track record in maintaining strong cost controls, and quality standards
- Person willing to relocate to Kampala Uganda.
