Job Description

1. JOB DETAILS: 

• Position Title: ENGINEER, VENDOR DEVELOPMENT 
• Reports to: DESIGN MANAGER 
• Department: DESIGN DEPT.
• Function: VENDOR DEVP.
• Division VENDOR DEVELOPMENT 

2. JOB PURPOSE :

• VENDOR DEVELOPMENT FOR ALF WIRING ACCESSORIES

 
3. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Description

• Identifying and qualifying new vendors, evaluating their technical, commercial and capacity capabilities.
• Developing new Vendors, assisting them in meeting technical requirement.
• Negotiating prices and terms of business for the new products.
• Working with new and existing Vendors to constantly improve quality, price and delivery performance.
• Support the assigned product lines, up to the point of receipt of Vendor materials and follow up.

4. COMMUNICATIONS & WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:

• Communication
• - Internal : Design,Production,Qc,Purchase etc. 
• - External : Various suppliers

5. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:

• Minimum Qualifications : B.E. Mechanical
• Minimum Experience : 5 8 Years 
• Generic Skills : 
• Sufficient knowledge in wiring accessories.
• Good Knowledge in computer applications and Internet, Pro-Engineering, AutoCAD, MS Project/MS Office

6. COMPETENCIES:

• Manufacturing process/Negotiation/Knowledge of plastic material/Brass/copper/steel etc.
