Job Description
The candidate will be in charge of Kakanega Webuye Road Project Kenya and has to Complete central planning of all activities of the project (construction of roads & bridges) executed by VIL Limited and shall include :
Planning equipment/machinery deployment.
Creating detailed Work Programme / Schedules for Project execution management with resource allocation.
Preparing & monitoring budgets.
Organising review meetings and recording project progress
Preparing various MIS reports
Co ordination with other departments for facilitating timely completion of projects..

15 to 20 years of experience in infrastructure (Roads/bridges etc.) with at least 8 to 12 years of experience as incharge of similar nature of work.
Skill sets :
Overall project management including planning, anchoring on-site project activities and overseeing the performance of sub-contractors, ensuring compliance with quality assurance plans.
Periodic review & monitoring the progress of the project with the stake holders and end user clients for ensuring completion of project within the scheduled time and cost parameters.
Budgetary planning and monitoring fund flow positions & follow up for payments.
Developing a dedicated quality vendor system for cost effective procurement and efficient store management and inventory control.
Effective work force development of large teams of workers and professionals.
Provide technical expertise during the analysis & evaluation of project & present cost/benefit analysis at project decision points & interpreting contractual clauses for on time execution of projects.
Liaison with clients, consultants or architects on design, specifications, clearance of bills & payments, etc..
Demonstrated conducting review meetings and prepare report on project progress.
