Travel Consultant
Experience: 3 to 8 yrs.
- Interact with the walk-in clients and understand their travel needs, whether they want to travel for leisure, relaxation, business or education
- Suggest names of destinations that will suit the client's needs, budget, preferences and the age group they belong to
- Collect the requisite documents from the clients and file applications for visa, hotel bookings, flight bookings, etc.
- Check the completeness and authenticity of the submitted documents and make sure they are consistent with the documentation guidelines
- Plan an itinerary with the travelers to ensure that they visit all important sites and perform all activities peculiar to that destination
- Make preparations to hold pre-departure meetings with the clients and explain them travel plans along with dates and time
- Follow up with corporate and client acquires booking and payment part.
Travel & Leisure Manager
Experience: 5 to 10 yrs.
- Supervision of client communication by travel consultants
- Communicate with airlines pertaining to travel product and travel issues
- Ensure that reservation and ticketing is carried out based on Uniglobe Quality Standards for both walk-in as well as corporate and VIP clients.
- Staff management of 29 members: 18 direct staff and 11 indirect staff providing for the HR day-to-day function.
- Marketing; including looking at customer satisfaction and feedback.
- Decide on pricing strategy and on discounts as per company policy.
- Analyzing Training needs of subordinates through performance monitoring.
- Prepare marketing and sales plans; oversee and strengthen performance in the marketing and sales activities in line with strategic objectives. Identify new clients and maintain existing ones by enhancing sustainable relationships to maximize the sales revenue. Provide coaching to sales and marketing team and back-up support to HR Executive.
- To enhance the overall team performance through motivating, communicating, appropriately delegating, stretching their abilities
- To ensure discipline and office ethics are maintained
- Preparation of marketing plan with Sales and Marketing Manager and Chief Operating Officer.
- Market and sell leisure travel products
- Oversee leisure operations
- To get the targeted customers and successfully negotiate supplier contracts
- More than 5+ years experience in the travel industry.
Education and Training
- IATA Advanced Diploma,
- GALILEO Diploma.
- Fully conversant with back office systems TRAMS, CB+, E-Travel
Knowledge and Skills Required
- A very good knowledge of the international travel industry, as well as the local tourism market.
- Basic computer package knowledge.
