Key Responsibilities:

HR Planning & Strategy: Develop the human resources strategy and policy  in line with the business objectives and implement HR processes, new initiatives and administrative procedures in the unit ensuring conformance with prevailing employment legislation

Organization structure,  planning and recruitment : Continuously monitor and improve employee productivity through organisation restructuring, reorganisation of roles and changing staffing levels with respect to industry benchmarks and best practices

Performance Management, Talent Management and Training: Implement the Performance Management process in the unit and ensure effective goal setting and objective performance appraisal of all employees

Compensation: Design and ensure Implementation of a Comprehensive Incentive Scheme specific to the Unit

Organizational Effectiveness  Plan and implement various OD interventions for employee

Industrial Relations: Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure productive and harmonious employee relations are consistently maintained, in accordance with legislation and codes of practice

Contract Labour Management: Manage a range of labour relations and negotiations process for the purpose of ensuring compliance fulfillment of necessary formalities for engagement of contractors.

Statutory Compliance Monitoring the statutory compliances under various Labour Laws like Mines Act, EPF & Misc. Act.
Grievance handling Resolving the grievances tactfully and implementing the timely effective redressal.

Company Details:
As part of its diversification process, in 2008, the Group forayed into the oil and gas sector, operating under Jindal Petroleum Limited. The company has acquired 7 Oil & Gas blocks in different parts of the world, including five oil and gas blocks in Georgia and one in India.
Jindal Petroleum participated in an Overseas Exploration Bidding Round in Georgia and won 4 Exploration Blocks. In all the four exploration blocks, it has a 100% participating interest. Production Sharing Contracts (PSC) for these 4 blocks were signed with the Government of Georgia in January 2009. Subsequently, Jindal Petroleum also acquired 1 Producing-cum-Exploration Block XIB in Georgia with a 75 % participating interest. The PSC for this block was signed in March 2009. The 5 blocks have a total acreage of 17959 sq. km. with estimated recoverable reserve of over 300 MMBBL of Crude Oil and 500 BCF of Gas. Jindal Petroleum is the operator for all the blocks & is currently producing about 450 bbl/day from Block XIB.
